During Your Visit to Ashlock Chiropractic
You will bring the pre-appointment paperwork that
you completed after visiting our Before Your Visit page.
Dr. Ashlock will then sit down with you and talk with you
about your symptoms and will let you know exactly how
chiropractic care will effectively benefit you.
Dr. Ashlock will most likely then X-Ray your spine, neck or
any other problem areas that you may have. After
reading the results of your X-Ray films, Dr. Ashlock will
then show you the problem areas you may have and will then
explain to you exactly what is causing your pain or
discomfort.
During the adjustment phase, Dr. Ashlock will use a
variety of methods and equipment to address your issues and
bring you back to optimum health. Light-touch specific
adjustments,
hands-on manipulation and stretching are just a few methods
used in managing your issues.
You should feel little to no discomfort during your
treatments. In fact, many patients leave our office
with effective pain relief and increased mobility after the
initial visit!
In the beginning of your treatment, you will see Dr. Ashlock
more frequently. Some of our patients will require
multiple visits each week until their body gets accustomed
to being aligned properly and has the ability to "hold" the
adjustments. Over time, your visits will become less
frequent as you enter the "maintenance phase" of your
treatment.
